same the glee cast always seems to have a more powerful energy behind their songs so i almost always like them more
yeah! and for me i think it might also have a lot to do with the fact that glee’s one doesn’t sound so much like it’s from a musical…if that makes sense lol.

so i’ve listened to the glee cover of ‘take me or leave me’ loads of times and i’ve listened to the original rent one (well the movie version) a few and i’ve decided i like the glee one more.
i just find amber and lea’s voices on it much more pleasing to listen to than idina’s and tracie’s.
